It is with immense sadness we are announcing the closure of Nest at the end of January 2026.

When we opened in 2017, we were driven to become part of a vibrant community, curate a sweet collection of Canadian handmade gifts for animal lovers, and spotlight unique talent to the GHA. 

We got our wish.

And we went even further; we began working with charities to fundraise, we held workshops and hosted speakers and brought new aspects and collaborations to the neighbourhood. Then we expanded our range of pet supplies, becoming more of a pet boutique to offer a hand-picked selection of quality pet foods, snacks and accessories from brands we are proud to partner with. Though some days it felt like we were swimming upstream in an ever-changing and challenging landscape in handmade retail, we remain so proud of what we were able to accomplish these past 8 1/2 years. It's time to turn the page.

The website will be updated shortly, and we will still ship and offer free local delivery for available items. A heartfelt thank you to the artists who worked with us, our valued customers who patronized us over the years, our partners, collaborators and the Locke Street neighbourhood. We are proud to have been here for over 8 years!
