Needle felting is the art of connecting wool. Using a felting needle with tiny barbs, you stab the wool over and over to connect the wool fibers together. The more you stab, the firmer the wool becomes, and eventually you'll create a firmly sculpted creation or beautiful wool painting. Turn sheep fluff into cool stuff.
Learn the art of needle felting by stabbing this beautiful 5" x 7" wool landscape painting. This is in the style of the Paint By Number kits where you will draw your scene onto a wool felt sheet, then use the color guide to match the colors for your painting. You will use a special felting needle to connect the wool fibers into the felt sheet. I find felt painting to be a very relaxing project because you don't have the stress of creating a 3-D object. Because you are stabbing flat, you must have a felting surface. This kit contains wool raised from sheep in Ontario, Canada. This is a great project for new felters, so I've set the skill-level to BEGINNER. That said, this is a fun project for any level of felter.All kits include:
